Sunscreen Blinds
Kleenscreen 5-8 Percent
Single Linked Blinds are generally for wide windows often wider than 3000mm. We offer different layout options which refers to the total quantity of blinds across the one space and how the chains are laid out. The most popular layout is layout one, which is two blinds side by side at any size individually that are equal to the overall width. The key with linked blinds is correctly measuring the overall tight top inside measurement and making sure that each blind width when added together is equal to that overall size. Do not allow for anything. Gaps between the blinds are generally 20mm so you want to measure to points that are the centre of a bar of joinery for your split sections rather than having a gap on top of glass.
Linked Blinds do not have to be split directly in half, when deciding where to split the blinds take notice of where the lines of wooden or aluminium joinery run. Be guided by this and if you are still unsure, email us a photo and we can make a recommendation. It is very common to split blinds over a sliding or bifold door in 1/3 (one third) and 2/3 (two third) sections. If your windows or doors are 3000mm and under we would usually recommend keeping blind as one and not splitting it. Be assured we use heavier tubes and drive units on wider blinds.
Layout 1 is two blinds with a chain on each blind, giving independent control over each blind.
Layout 2 is two blinds with one chain on the left blind which operates both blinds at the same time (max overall width 4000mm).
Layout 3 is two blinds with one chain on the right blind which operates both blinds at the same time (max overall width 4000mm).
Layout 4 is three blinds with two chains, one on the left most blind and one on the right most blind. Left chain operates the left and middle blind. Right chain operates the right blind.
Layout 5 is three blinds is three blinds with two chains, one on the left most blind and one on the right most blind. Left chain operates the left blind. Right chain operates the right blind and middle blind.
Layout 6 is four blinds with two chains one on the left most blind, one on the right most blind. Left chain operates the left and left middle blind. Right chain operates the right and right middle blind.
